The Kishangarh Airport is the first airport in India to have this technology which will enable unscheduled flights to land here under various circumstances including bad weather conditions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"tw-target-text\">With GAGAN technology, non-scheduled flights can easily land at Kishangarh airport even when there is low visibility due to bad weather. This will help reduce flight delays and improve passenger safety.  The aircraft will also be able to save fuel. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"tw-target-text\">Only three countries in the world had this type of technology that works on  satellite signals. India has become the fourth country in the world and the first country in Asia to use this technology. This technology is known as GAGAN in India, (WAAS) in America, EGNOS in Europe and MSAS in Japan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"tw-target-text\">Indigo Airlines had successfully tested the scheduled flight. Here the aircraft will land through LPV (Localization Performance with Vertical Guidance) approach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"tw-target-text\">Until now, aircraft used to land at the airport through an instrument landing system. In this landing system, many types of instruments are installed at the airport, which helps in landing the aircraft in bad weather. These instruments are so expensive that they are available only at a few major airports like Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, and Calcutta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"tw-target-rmn\">Approach satellite signals at Kishangarh airport are geographic of better quality than other airports in the country, due to which AI tested its aircraft by VTIAF.
