The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) has increased the toll tax at all three toll plazas on Jaipur-Delhi National Highway (NH-8) &#8211; \u00a0Daulatpura, Manoharpur, and Shahjahanpur. You will need to shell out Rs 25 more when travelling between Delhi and Jaipur by car. You will have to pay Rs 10 more on the Manoharpur toll and Rs 15 more on the Shahjahanpur toll. Similarly, if a car drives from Jaipur to Delhi via C-Zone Bypass (Daulatpura), then he will have to pay Rs 375. The car will pay toll tax at four places.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Jaipur-Delhi bypass was built on a built operate and transfer (BoT) basis. The project cost to build the highway between Jaipur and Gurugram was about Rs 3678 crore. The toll tax is collected at three places on this national highway which is about 225 km long. On a BoT basis, a company named Pinkcity Express Pvt Ltd used to collect toll tax at Shahjahanpur, Manohpur and Daulatpur toll plazas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The contract of this company expired on May 31 last month. Now NHAI itself collects toll tax on all three plazas between Jaipur and Gurugram.
