Jaipur: Rajasthan Women’s Commission has demanded a report from investigation officers in the Shubhangana death case. The chairperson of the commission, Suman Sharma has directed the police team probing the case to present a report by October 30.

Last month, Shubhangana Raj, owner of the Jaipur-based multi-crore educational group, was found hanging in her room. Police are investigating all possible angles in this case. Subhangana, also known as Ruchira, was the chairperson of Jasoda Devi Colleges and Institutions. She resided in C-Scheme’s Gokhale Marg.

Her family members have alleged that she had not committed suicide, but was rather murdered. Some photographs and messages have been given by them to the police. Shubhangana’s husband Rajkumar has reportedly told the cops that his wife was suffering from mental agony as her parents wanted her to divorce him.

Shubhangana’s family members had filed an FIR at Ashok Nagar police station, however, the case was handed over to crime branch for investigation. The crime branch has been calling witnesses and family members for interrogation. The deceased woman’s father Prem Surana had alleged that his daughter was killed by her husband and in his complaint mentioned that it was a planned murder as Rajkumar was involved in several illegal and immoral activities. Rajkumar has rubbished all allegations and stated that he is been targeted.
