Woman murdered in Sanganer Sadar area; boyfriend missing

Jaipur: The body of a 28-year-old woman was found in a house in Sanganer Sadar area on Monday. There are several injury marks on the body following which the police suspect the woman was murdered. The victim was in a live-in relationship with a man who is now missing. The police have launched a search for him as he is the prime suspect in the case.

The woman was identified as Sangeeta Kumari. She had come in contact with one Narasi Meena nearly two years ago and had been living with her since then. The police quizzed her family members who stated that Sangeeta had left her parental home two years ago and moved in with Narasi Meena.

According to preliminary reports, she had been living in the house where the body was found for the past one month. Narasi had rented this house. On Sunday night, the man was in the house as per the neighbours, but he was not seen since Monday morning.

Police suspect that he might be involved in the victim’s murder and have launched a search for him. The police are yet to confirm whether the couple got married or not.
