Who is Rohit Godara who claimed responsibility for Gogamedi murder?

JAIPUR: Rohit Godara, a notorious criminal, has allegedly claimed responsibility for the murder of Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, the President of the Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena. Godara made the claim in a Facebook post, where he alleged that Gogamedi had worked with his enemies to strengthen them. He also warned his enemies of dire consequences.
According to reports, Godara is associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and his name has come up in several high-profile cases, including the murder of Raju Teth in Sikar, Rajasthan, and the Sidhu Moose Wala murder case in Punjab. In October 2020, he was arrested in a murder case and was imprisoned in Churu jail. He managed to escape from the jail in May 2022.
Godara claimed in his Facebook post that he had taken the responsibility for Raju Teth’s murder in Sikar, Rajasthan, in May 2022. He stated that he had avenged the deaths of Anandpal Singh and Balbir Banuda, who were killed by Raju Teth. Godara had contacted the Naveen Boxer gang of Bhiwani in Haryana to carry out the murder.
Godara’s name has also come up in the Interpol’s Red Corner Notice, and he is believed to be currently present in Canada. The NIA is continuing its investigation into the matter.
