Tourists to visit Amber Fort in Jaipur on golf carts from this month

Jaipur: Amer, one of the most iconic forts of the world, will soon witness the usage of golf carts. The MOU to introduce this vehicle was signed a long time ago however the project faced certain delays thereafter. The carts should have been seen in Amer about a month ago however this did not happen. Now there are efforts being made again to get this unique vehicle running at one of the most popular tourist destinations in the country.
The golf carts will be used after elephant safari is stopped at the fort. The golf carts will operate on the route that is currently used for the elephant safari. From 11 am until evening these modern carts will help tourist explore the majestic fort.
In the initials stages, about 10 golf carts will be operated. The introductory cost will be Rs 40 and Rs 50 for a single and double round respectively. The prices will be reviewed after the initial period. Meanwhile, for the past few days, 3 segway scooters have also been operational here. Youngsters, in particular, have enjoyed riding these scooters.
