Tourists don’t have to stand in quest to visit Jaipur monument now

Tourists, coming to the monuments and other tourism attractions in the city with e-tickets, will have not to waste time in queues.

Jaipur: Tourists, coming to monuments and other tourism attractions in the city with e-tickets, will not have to waste time in queues. The department of tourism has linked websites of the city’s monuments to e-ticketing system.

As soon as a tourist books a ticket online to visit a monument, operators of the concerned monument’s website will receive an email. The email will inform the operator of the booking made by the tourist.

If the tourist brings a print-out of the online booking, it will be matched with the record of the online registration with the monument. If a tourist doesn’t have an e-ticket, he or she can show the booking’s email.

By implementing this system, the tourism department aims at ensuring that tourists don’t have to stand in queues in front of ticket windows at the monuments.

Amber Fort, Albert Hall, Jantar-Mantar and other tourist attractions have been linked with the new system.
