If you are visiting Jhalana Leopard Safari Park, then here are a few things you should keep in mind.
Jaipur: Jhalana Leopard Safari is one of the most popular activities that has made Jaipur a hot wildlife tourism destination. Earlier the majority of tourists visiting the safari park were from Jaipur and other nearby cities such as Delhi and Gurugram, but now the reserve is getting popular among wildlife lovers from all over the country.
If you are visiting Jhalana Leopard Safari Park, then here are a few things you should keep in mind:
- You should carry an identification card with you all the time. If you have booked the Jhalana Leopard Safari online, the name and address on the booking should match the name and address on the ID card. Booking won’t be transferred to someone else once it is confirmed. Foreign nationals should carry their passport.
- Always reach the park at least 30-45 minutes before the safari. You will be notified by your booking agent about the exact safari timing because it can slightly change depending on the season, so make sure you are aware of the timing and other reservation details. If you have booked through an agent, you will most likely be picked up from your hotel around 5 am or 2 pm depending on the shift you have booked the safari for. The tourists are taken on safari in two shifts.
- A great thing about Jhalana Leopard Safari Park is that it’s open to tourists throughout the year. But in extreme circumstances, the park may be closed. It rarely happens, but it’s always a good idea to be prepared for such a situation. Another thing is that it is not guaranteed that you would be able to spot a leopard, so go with an open mind. The reserve features wild animals including jackals, hyenas, spotted deer and blue bull.
- The safari takes about 2.5 hours. You need to set aside at least five hours from the pickup time to drop-off time. Plan your day accordingly.
So these are some of the most basic things you should keep in mind when visiting Jhalana Leopard Safari Park.
