JAIPUR: The one day Teacher-In-Service-Program (TISP) on “Application of IoT in Industrial Automation” was organized by Poornima College of Engineering (PCE), Jaipur.
It was conducted in hybrid mode and offered both in-person and virtual participation options. The event was funded by the IEEE Region 10 Industry Relations Committee (IRC).
It was supported by organizations such as including IEEE Delhi Section, IEEE Circuit and Systems Society (CASS) Delhi Chapter, and IEEE Delhi Section LMAG.
The key highlights of the program included 11 informative sessions, workshops, and discussions led by experts in the field of Industrial Internet of Things (IoT) and automation.
The attendees had the opportunity to network and gain practical experience in IoT devices’ applications in industrial settings. A certificate of participation was awarded to all attendees.
The event featured many guests, including Prof. Debabrata Das, Chair of IEEE India Council, as the Chief Guest.
Many notable figures were also present including Sanjay Kar Chaudhary, Chair of IRC Region 10; Er. Gunjan Saxena, Deputy Director General at the Ministry of Communications, Government of India in Jaipur; Dr. Preeti Bajaj, Vice Chair of IEEE IRC R10 and former VC of LPU; Preet Yadav, Chair of IEEE CASS Delhi Chapter and R&D SOC Technical Program Manager at NXP Semiconductors in Delhi; Dr. Dharmendra Boolchandani, IEEE Rajasthan Subsection Chair; Dr. Mahesh Bundele, Principal & Director of PCE; Dr. Pankaj Dhemla Vice-Principal, PCE & Dr. Garima Mathur, organizing secretary with among others.
This TISP promises to be an enriching opportunity for educators and professionals to enhance their knowledge of IoT’s role in industrial automation, facilitated by the collaboration of educational institutions and IEEE’s support.
