Jitendra Singh and Shishupal arrested in Rajasthan police constable recruitment cheating case

Jaipur: Rajasthan police’s special operations group (SOG) on Friday arrested the masterminds behind the case of high-tech cheating by using thumbprints of genuine candidates and making bogus candidates appear in their place.

ADG, SOG Umesh Mishra said that the two arrested were identified as Jitendra Singh (31) and Shishupal Jat (28), residents of Deeg and Sewar areas in Bharatpur districts respectively.

“They were arrested from Malviya Nagar area. Both are brother-in-law,” ADG Mishra said.

The SOG had arrested three men at Dolphin Kids International School in Muralipura in the same case on Thursday. Senior SOG officers said that the candidates were required to provide their thumb prints for a biometric attendance in the exam.
