Teenager accidentally hangs himself while making TikTok video; dies

Jaipur: A 15-year-old boy died after he accidentally hanged himself while shooting a TikTot video in Dausa town of Rajasthan on Friday. The boy, identified as Vikram Mahavar, was shooting a video with his mobile phone demonstrating how he could survive even after hanging himself.

Vikram was a Class 8 student. He used to shoot videos and upload them on TikTok on a regular basis. While he was shooting the video on Friday, his neck got stuck in the noose. He was alone in the room, so he had died before his family members spotted him hanging. They rushed him to a hospital where doctors declared him brought dead. A postmortem examination of the body was conducted.

The boy’s father Shankarlal Mahavar has told the police that Vikram spent his free time making TikTok videos. He had been obsessed with this over the past few months. He had shared a lot of videos on this popular video-sharing social networking platform. He used to make his family members and friends watch these videos. The family members are yet to believe that this infatuation could kill him.
