“Technovation-2023” kicks off at Poornima College of Engineering in Jaipur

JAIPUR: The “Technovation-2023” event was inaugurated at Poornima College of Engineering (PCE), Jaipur, in collaboration with IEEE Student Chapter.
This international conference, focusing on recent advancements in engineering and featuring the 6th Technical Paper and Model Contests, began on Thursday.
Organized jointly with the ASHRAE Rajasthan Chapter, ACM Student Chapter, ISTE, ISLE, and Poornima Innovation and Incubation Cell, the event’s opening ceremony welcomed Dr. P. N. Sharma, General Manager of Rajasthan Electronics & Instruments Ltd., Jaipur, as the Chief Guest.
Dr. Mahesh Bundele, Director of PCE, started the program by presenting an e-bouquet and a memento to Dr. Sharma. Dr. Rekha Nair, the Convener of Technovation-2023, then delivered a welcome address and an overview of the event.
She emphasized the importance of research and outlined the objectives of Technovation-2023, which aims to gather students from across the nation and notable dignitaries to discuss the potential of ongoing research.
She mentioned that the event includes a technical paper presentation and model contests, divided into six parallel tracks, with around 300 registered papers and models set to be presented over two days.
Dr. P. N. Sharma engaged the audience with his research insights, focusing on the practical applications of Rapid Technology in various fields and the challenges of the current scenario.
He encouraged participants to excel by working hard, smart, and with focus. Dr. Mahesh Bundele highlighted the importance of being research-oriented for academicians, as it fosters enthusiasm and passion for their profession. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Pankaj Dhemla, Vice-Principal of PCE.
