Special weekly train to run between Udaipur-Jaipur and Udhampur to cater to pilgrim rush

JAIPUR: In response to the rising number of passengers travelling to Vaishnodevi and Amarnath, the Indian Railways has taken the initiative to operate special train services connecting Jammu Tawi and Udhampur.
Starting from July 4, a weekly train will run from Udaipur. With a total of four trips scheduled, this train will traverse the route via Alwar, Jaipur, Ajmer, and Bhilwara.
As per the official schedule provided by the North Western Railway, the train with number 09655, named Udaipur City-Udhampur Special, will depart from Udaipur every Tuesday at 4:05 pm, starting from July 4 and concluding on July 25. The train will reach Jaipur station at 11:10 pm on the same day and resume its journey at 11:20 pm on Wednesday. Finally, it will arrive at its final destination, Udhampur, at 6:05 pm.
In the return journey, train number 09656, Udhampur-Udaipur City Special, will depart from Udhampur every Wednesday at 10:05 pm, beginning on July 5 and concluding on July 26. The train will reach Udaipur City at 12:25 pm on the following Thursday.
These trains will make stops at Jammu Tawi, Jalandhar Cantt, Ludhiana, Hisar, Hansi, Bhiwani, Charkhi Dadri, Rewari, Khairthal, Alwar, Bandikui, Gandhinagar Jaipur, Jaipur Junction, Kishangarh, Ajmer, Nasirabad, Bijaynagar, Bhilwara, Chanderiya, Mavli, and Rana Pratap.
