Rajasthan: The Special Operations Group (SOG) has announced a reward of Rs 1 lakh for anyone who provides credible information about cheating gangs ahead of the Sub-Inspector (SI) Recruitment Examination 2025, scheduled to be held across the state on April 5 and 6.
ADG (SOG) Vishal Bansal said the examination will be conducted at 1,174 centres spread across 41 cities in 26 districts of Rajasthan, with 7.70 lakh candidates registered to appear for the test.
Rajasthan Police, the SOG, and all other related agencies have been placed on high alert in view of the examination. A Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) has been issued by the police headquarters to prevent paper leaks and cheating.
As part of the security measures, photocopy shops and cyber cafes operating near examination centres will remain closed during the exam period. Plain-clothes personnel will be deployed to monitor suspicious activities across examination venues. Checks on suspicious vehicles are already underway across the state and will continue until the exam concludes.
Question papers will be stored under double-lock at district treasury offices, with special security arrangements in place at each location. Additional police force will be deployed at examination venues for crowd management.
Anyone with information about cheating gangs can contact the SOG on its WhatsApp number 9530429258. The SOG has assured that the identity of all informants will be kept strictly confidential.
