SMS Hospital: OPD timing changed

Jaipur: With the temperature rising, the SMS Hospital administration has changed the OPD timing. From April 1, the OPD at SMS Hospital in Jaipur will be open from 8 am to 2 pm. Hospital superintendent DS Meena issued an order in this regard on Tuesday.
The OPD registration counters will now start registration of patients at 7 am, an hour before the OPD becomes operational.
“The decision has been taken as summers are round the corner. Patients coming to the SMS Hospital can now consult doctors early in the morning,” said a senior hospital administration officer.
As the footfall of patients is increasing, the hospital administration is introducing many changes and adding new facilities.
The administration had recently announced that the patients would soon get cashless treatment. They wouldn’t have to carry when getting treatment at the hospital. The hospital has approached banks to set up counters where patients will be able to get plastic money cards. These pre-paid cards could be used for registration, tests and other treatment-related expenses.
