Smart Raj App: NOCs, construction approval to be issued online by JMC

Jaipur: You will no longer have to run from pillar to post to get various cirtificates, NOCs and residential construction approval issued by the Jaipur Municipal Corporation (JMC). Smart Raj App is being launched under the Smart Raj Scheme. You will be able to apply for various certificates including FIR NOC, marriage registration, birth and death certificates, home construction approval and trade license online.
“We are soon launching the app and will train the officials and staff on how to use the app. The training camps will be organized till May 25. Software and hardware for the app are being installed at all the eight JMC zones,” said a senior JMC officer.
A meeting presided over by principal secretary Siddhartha Mahajan was held at state secreteriate on Friday.
The officer directed the JMC officials to start work on the Smart Raj App from June 1. Many senior officials attended the meeting.
“The app will make it extremely easy for Jaipur residents to get various certificates, NOCs and home construction approval. They won’t have to come to the JMC headquarter or zonal offices for their work. It will reduce corruption as the people won’t need middlemen to get their civic work done at the JMC,” said the officer.
