Skeleton of Delhi man recovered from Alwar 8 years after his murder

Jaipur: The crime branch of Delhi police excavated the skeleton of a young man almost eight years after he was murdered and his body was buried in Alwar district. According to preliminary reports, the crime branch has recovered 27 bones from the excavation site. The police suspect the role of the victim’s wife and her paramour. A man from Tapukra area of Alwar district has been arrested.
One Ravi Kumar disappeared from Delhi in 2011 following his family members registered a case with Kapashera police station there. The case was later handed over to the crime branch of Delhi police for investigation when the local police couldn’t get any headway. One Kamal Singhala, a resident of Tapukra in Alwar district was one of the suspects in the case and when he was put through a narco test, it came up that Ravi was murdered and his body was buried in Tapukra area of Alwar district.
Kamal Singla was arrested. A crime branch team brought him to Tupukra on Thursday. He led the police team to the spot where the body was buried. In the presence of Tijara SDM and Tapukra SHO, the crime branch excavated the skeleton of the victim. About 27 bones were recovered in the excavation.
When the crime branch team got suspicious about Kamal, he visited the spot where he buried the body nearly eight months after the incident and excavated the carcass. He scattered the bones at several places from Bhiwadi to Kishangarh. Some bones were still left there.
