Sikar: 3 die in road accident as truck rams into car

Jaipur: Three people died on the spot in a road accident near Dasa Ki Dhani area of Sikar, when a truck got out of control and crashed into a car on Thursday. The treatment of the other three victims is going on in the hospital. All the victims were in the car. The Udyog Nagar police of Sikar rushed to the spot and pulled the bodies out of the car. The driver of the truck managed to flee from the spot.

The incident happened around noon on Thursday and caused panic on the road that led to a traffic jam. The police had to tow away both the vehicles to clear the road.

The identification of the deceased is yet to be made. Police have taken the bodies to a mortuary. Postmortem examination will be conducted after the police identify the bodies and inform the family members.

According to the locals, a car was running parallel to a truck near Dasa Ki Dhani. The truck lost balance and crashed into the car.

Locals called emergency control rooms and police and informed about the incident. Police rushed to the spot and rescued the members from the car.

The accident was so intense that the three victims in the car died on the spot and others were critically injured. The driver of the car managed to flee the spot.

Police are probing the matter and launched a search for the accused driver. He was booked for rash and negligent driving.
