Second direct flight between Udaipur and Bengaluru launched by SpiceJet

Jaipur: The second direct flight connecting Udaipur with Bengaluru took off on November 7 from Dabok airport in Udaipur. The flight being operated by SpiceJet is the second direct flight to Bengaluru. Earlier on November 1, Indigo also launched a direct flight.
The SpiceJet flight took off at 9 pm on Diwali night. Over 140 passengers travelled to Bengaluru in the flight that has a capacity of 189 passengers. The flight will take passengers to Bengaluru in only 2.20 hours.
Earlier there was no direct flight between Bengaluru and Udaipur. It would cost a person over 10,000 to travel between these two destinations by air. The flight has not only reduced the travel time, but also made the travel cheaper. The ticket price will be from Rs 2500 to Rs 5000 per person.
First flight from Udaipur to Bangalore took off from Dabok Airport at 6 pm on November 1.
Tour and travel experts said that the flight will increase connectivity of Udaipur with South India. It will also boost tourism in the City of Lakes.
Flyers had to use connecting flights to travel between Udaipur and Bangalore. It took them nearly 5-6 hours, but now it would be possible for people to reach travel between the two destinations within 2.20 hours.
