Scania’s Super Luxury Buses: Rajasthan Roadways reduce ticket rates on six routes

Jaipur: Rajasthan Roadways has reduced ticket rates of Super Luxury Scania buses on six routes connecting Jaipur to the country’s most prominent tourist and religious places.

Here are the six routes for which fare has been reduced:

Shimla: The fare was earlier Rs 1804. It has been reduced to 1496

Chandigarh: Fare reduced to Rs 1145 from Rs 1453

Mandi: Fare reduced to Rs 1753 from Rs 2063

Kullu: Fare reduced to Rs 1976 from  Rs 2284

Manali: Fare reduced to Rs 2021 from Rs 2330

Solan: Fare was Rs 1645 previously which has been reduced to  Rs 1337

Kalka: Fare has been reduced to Rs 1216 from Rs 1524

Katara: Fare has been reduced to Rs 2035 from Rs 2344

Jammu: The new fare is Rs 1914 reduced from Rs 2223

Haridwar: Fare has been reduced to Rs 1214 from Rs 1522

Rajasthan Roadways officials said that the reduced ticket rates would encourage more and more passengers to use luxury buses for travelling to the country’s prominent religious and tourist destinations.

Sources said that Rajasthan Roadways had to take the decisions due to the lukewarm response the super luxury buses started by the department received. It was causing loss.
