Jaipur: The vibrant energy of JIET Universe’s annual fest, Resonance-25, reached its peak with an electrifying live performance by Bollywood music composer and singer Sachin Sanghvi. The three-day event, a grand mix of sports, cultural, and technical activities, drew thousands of students and locals, with Sanghvi’s concert as the headline act.

Sanghvi captivated the audience, opening with “Tu Mera Koi Na Hoke Bhi Kuch Lage”, followed by a string of his most popular songs, including “Tumse Kiran Dhoop Ki”, “Kamariya”, “Party Abhi Baki Hai”, and “Piya Re Piya”. His soulful renditions and high-energy numbers had the crowd on their feet, singing along deep into the night.

The festival, organized by the JIET Student Council, featured a diverse lineup of performances. EDM duo DJ Lost Stories took the stage with a powerful set featuring hits like “Taj”, “Le Ja”, and “Bombay Dreams”. The fusion folk band Raitila Rajasthan, led by composer Govind Singh Bhati, delivered a unique mix of traditional Rajasthani music blended with hip-hop and rap. Their rendition of “Mehman”, a track from Netflix’s Mismatched, won thunderous applause, followed by captivating performances of “Kesariya Balam Rap”, “Samdario”, and “Railgadi”. The band showcased an impressive combination of traditional instruments like the Algoja and Sindhi Sarangi alongside modern beats.

Adding a classical touch, the talented dancers from Bhairavi Natyalay delivered an elegant Bharatanatyam performance, mesmerizing the audience with their grace and precision.

The festival also honored outstanding students with an award ceremony, where JIET Universe’s Managing Trustee Shashikant Singhi, Chairman Mayank Singhi, Director Dr. Avnish Bora, and JIET Medical College’s Principal Dr. Deepak Verma distributed prizes totaling nearly Rs 10 lakh. The awards recognized students’ academic excellence, innovation, and contributions to the institution.

A major highlight of Resonance-25 was the design department’s annual fashion show, Echoes, where students showcased collections inspired by themes like Heaven-Earth-Hell, Abstract Art, Pop Art, and Myths-Mystery and Truth. A segment titled Trash to Treasure featured first-year students presenting outfits crafted from upcycled denim. Fashion communication students demonstrated the importance of storytelling in design, while interior design students showcased creations inspired by Indian heritage. The event culminated in the presentation of Best Designer Awards by designer Anshul Rajvansh and social worker Ira Sisodia.

The sports arena buzzed with excitement as students competed in basketball, cricket, table tennis, football, badminton, tug-of-war, chess, kho kho, and carrom. On the technical front, gaming enthusiasts and problem-solvers tested their skills in Free Fire, RC Car Racing, Treasure Hunt, Call of Duty, Escape Room, Social Media Challenges, and Rocket League.

Cultural activities added another layer of excitement, with competitions like Dance Odyssey, JIET Got Latent (a talent hunt), Bonfire Jamming, Flash Mob, and singing contests. The Carnival Ball and Beauty in Bloom showcased fashion and creativity, while faculty members participated in fun contests like Whisper Challenge, Split and Steal, and Pick and Dare.

With a perfect blend of music, dance, sports, and technology, Resonance-25 left a lasting impression on students and attendees, cementing JIET Universe’s reputation as a hub of talent and creativity in Rajasthan.
