RU: Revised dates for BSc, BA, MSc, MA and MCom exams announced
Jaipur: The Rajasthan University (RU) administration has postponed the undergraduate and post graduate exams that were scheduled on April 29, April 30 and May 6 due to upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2019. The new dates have been announced, said, officials.
According to the officials, the admission card and the exam center will remain the same for all the postponed exams. The new dates are between May 8 and May 21.
Revised dates for RU exams are:
1. BSc\BA, first year, Zoology and Maths-II on May 14
2. Bsc\BA, third year on May 17, May 20 and May 21
3. Bsc\BA\B.com, first year on May 16, May 18 and May 21
4. Bsc\BA, second year on May 9 and May 13
5. Msc\MA\M.com previous and final on May 8, May 9 and May 10
The exams dates for few subjects were postponed earlier due to the Gujjar agitation in the state and were scheduled for May 6, added officials.
Recently, Rajasthan University (RU) postponed Zoology and Maths papers of Bachelors of Science (BSc) first year scheduled on March 26 just before four hours of the exam.
As per the administration, the officials of a college center, Mother Teresa College located at Kishangarh – Renwal, opened the seal of the exam paper’s envelope at 7 am by mistake.
As soon as the RU officials received the information, they directed all the exam centers to cancel the exam with immediate effect.
The nomination process for the fourth phase polls scheduled for April 29 has been over. The last date for nomination is April 18 for the fifth phase polls scheduled on May 6.
The dates for upcoming Lok Sabha Elections were announced by Election Commission of India. Polling in Rajasthan on 25 seats will be held on April 29 (Phase 4) and May 6 (Phase 5). The results will be announced on May 23.
