RU admission: Fresh cut-off lists soon as 10% increase in PG and UG seats
Last Updated:
Jaipur: The Rajasthan University administration has announced a 10% increase in the seats for admission in post graduate and under graduate courses for this academic session. This is the second time an increase of 10% in seats has been announced. The cut off list to fill the increased seats will be announced soon.
There are 7391 seats for under graduate and 3728 seats for post graduate courses including BA, BCom, BSc, pass-course and honours. The number of seats will increase to 13343 seats. The academic session 2019-20 was to begin from July 1, but since the increase in seats was announced on July 17, the classes will further get delayed.
“There are some other reasons for the delay in the commencement of the academic session. The 12th class markesheets are yet to be issued, while some students are facing a problem while getting EWS certificates. We are talking all these factors into consideration,” said an RU administration official.
The fresh cut-off lists will likely be released for RU departments and constituent colleges including Maharaja College, Maharani College, Commerce College and Rajasthan College.
