RU admission: First cut-off list released today, here is how to check

Jaipur: First cut-off list for Maharani College, Maharaja College, Commerce College and Rajasthan College have been released on Monday. These Rajasthan University (RU) constituent colleges are among the most sought-after destinations for undergraduate studies in the state.

Nearly 40,000 admission forms were submitted for nearly 6,000 seats in these colleges. Compared to the previous year, nearly 4000 more forms were submitted.

The first cut-off list was to come out on June 15, but the colleges didn’t receive data from all education boards, resulting in the delay.

More than 15,000 girls have sought admission in Maharani College against total seats of 2270.

The competition is very tough as far as admission in Maharaja college is concerned. The college has received nearly 11,000, but has nearly 900 seats only.

Commerce College has received nearly 4000 forms, while there are 1380 seats only.

Rajasthan College has also received applications in huge numbers against admission for nearly 1000 seats.
