RU admission 2019 for UG and PG courses to begin from June 1

Jaipur: The Rajasthan University has announced admission dates for the graduate, postgraduate, law and other courses for the academic year – 2019-20 immediately after the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) announced the results for Class 12 on Wednesday.

The admissions for graduates courses in RU’s constituent colleges will be begin from June. The students can apply for admission in BA, BCom, BSc, BBA, BCA and other courses online between June 1 and June 10. The entrance tests for admission to post graduate courses will also begin from June 1. The tests will be conducted from June 17 to June 22.

Following are the seats in various Rajasthan University constituent colleges:

BA Pass Course (Rajasthan College): 480 seats

BA Pass Course (SFS): 480 seats

BA Honours (Rajasthan College): 60 seats

BA Honours (Maharani College): 60 seats

BSc Bio (Maharaja College): 360

BSc Maths (Maharaja College): 360 seats

BSc Bio (Maharani College): 180 seats

BSc Maths (Maharani College): 60 seats

BCom Pass Course (Commerce College): 660 seats

BCom Pass Course (SFS): 420 seats

BCom (Maharani College): 180 seats

BCom Honours (Maharani College): 180 seats

BCA (Commerce College): 120 seats

BCA (Maharaja College): 120 seats

BCA (Maharani College): 120 seats

“The admission process will begin from June 1 after the RBSC and CBSE both have declared the results for Class 12. The students can apply for admissions and entrance tests online. This will make the process smooth and hassle free for students. We have made all the necessary preparations,” said a senior RU officer.

For admission in law colleges affiliated with RU, the ULET exam will be conducted on June 30. RULET will be held on June 9. The RU is likely to issue a notification in this regard in the next couple of days. There are 600 seats for three-year law course, while 120 seats for five-year law course.
