RTU: Students now have to complete M.Arch and M.Tech within four years

Jaipur: Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) has decided to give a set number of years for students wanting to complete M.Arch and M.Tech degrees. The students will get a maximum time of 4 years for completing these courses failing which they will not be awarded their degree certificates. The students who had enrolled for these courses between years 2006 and 2015 have been asked to complete these degree courses by August 31, 2019.
RTU conducts full time as well as part-time degree courses. A full-time student can complete his M.Tech course in a minimum span of 2 years and a maximum of 4 years. This deadline is 3 years and 6 years respectively for the students who opt for a part-time course. Along with B.Tech, MBA, and MSc, in M.Tech as well it has been decided to give an extension of one year post the completion of deadlines.
This decision taken by RTU is a positive one as it will contribute in several ways. The projects to be completed during the semester will now be submitted on time by the students without unnecessary delays. The placement process will also get streamlined as the students will get equal opportunities from a larger group.
RTU, the affiliating university located in Kota in Rajasthan, was established in the year 2006. This was after the then state government decided to enhance technical education in the state.The University is one of the most reputed engineering colleges in India.
