RTE admission scam: ACB conducts raid at Shiksha Sankul in Jaipur

Jaipur: A Rajasthan anti-corruption bureau (ACB) team carried out a search at Shiksha Sankul as part of their investigation into an alleged scam related to admissions under the Right to Education (RTE) Act in the state.

RTI scam: Rajasthan government made to pay for education of students who didn’t exist

The ACB team seized records from Block Number – 2 and Block Number – 3 of the building on JLN Marg.

Sources said that complaints regarding irregularities in RTE admissions from 2013 to 2015 had been received by ACB.

After receiving the complaints, the agency launched a preliminary enquiry.

An ACB team reached Shiksha Shakul in the afternoon and went through records.

ACB has seized many documents from the building.

The officials were tightlipped about what was recovered.
