Robbers posing as courier boys attack woman in Kardhani; Make away with jewellery and cash
The victim Santoshi Devi (55), a resident of Kardhani area of Jaipur lives with her husband Babulal and son Shubham. Babaulal is an accountant in a private firm and Shubham works in a drug manufacturing company. During the time of the incident, both Babulal and Shubham were out at their offices.

Jaipur: Two unidentified men entered a house in broad daylight near Shyam Nagar Vistar Colony at Kardhani area of Jaipur posing as courier boys and thrashed an elderly woman before they fled away with cash and jewellery worth lakhs of rupees from the house. The incident happened at around 4 pm on Tuesday. Police is yet to identify the robbers.

According to the police, Devi was alone at the house, when two courier men entered her house on the pretext that they wanted to deliver a parcel. They pushed her inside and started beating her. They tied her and ransacked the house. The accused men made away with gold and cash worth Rs 25 lakh.
As per preliminary investigation, the accused men tried to attempt to rob the house a few days ago, but Babulal and Shubham were home at that time so the robbery bid failed.
Police reached the spot after getting the information. They rushed Santosh Devi to a nearby hospital where her treatment is going on. Family members were informed and the police have launched a search for the accused.
Police are examining CCTV footages to identify the robbers.
