Road accident: Mother-son duo dies on NH-8 in Shahpura

Jaipur: A mother-son duo died in a road accident on National Highway -8 (NH-8) in Shahpura in Jaipur rural on Monday. Their car collided with a truck on the highway. Two people were injured in the accident. They are undergoing treatment in a critical condition.
The mishap occurred near Bidara Bridge around 1 am. The deceased victims have been identified as Vimla Devi (55) and her son Sunny Sharma (26), residents of Faridabad in Uttar Pradesh.
According to the police, six people including Vimla Devi, Sunny Sharma, Rampath Sharma (Vimla’s husband) were traveling to Faridabad from Ajmer via NH-8 in a car. A truck driver running ahead of their car, suddenly pulled the breaks. Their car rammed into the truck. Sunny died on the spot while his mother was rushed to the hospital and died while undergoing treatment. Two others sustained injuries.
Locals gathered on the spot and informed the police. The bodies were handed over the bodies to the family members after a post-mortem examination.
The deceased Sunny’s brother has lodged an FIR against the truck driver. Sunny’s brother Surendra said that Sunny was working with the Axis bank in Bhiwadi. He brought a new car for her parents on October 10. The family went to Ajmer to meet their relatives in the new car. While returning from there, this incident happened.
Sunny had been married for the past three yras. He was living in Bhiwadi with his wife and son.
