Jaipur: The results of Recruitment to Civil Judge Cadre, 2016 were announced on Tuesday with seven girls securing their place in the merit list of top 10 candidates. A total of 43 spots have been secured by woman candidates. The recruitment was for 72 posts.
All the three toppers are women. Anubhuti Mishra from Bikaner has topped the exam, while Chitrakshi Singh and Jaya Chaturvedi have secured second and third spots in the merit list.
The results are in line with the outcomes of the RJS exam – 2015. Women candidates had dominated the results with 69 women selected out of the total 104 posts.
Anubhuti told media persons that she was short of just 4 marks in RJS-2015 exam.
“Instead of being disappointed, I studied harder. I knew that if I was able to score that much, I could easily crack the exam. However, I didn’t expect to top it,” she said. Anubhuti’s mother Rakshra Dungar is a lecturer at a college.
Anubhuti studied nearly 15 hours a day. She wouldn’t go out for days and waste time on social media, internet and outings, her family members said.
“My father who passed away also dreamed that I would become a judge. It was his last wish and I am really proud that I made his dream come true,” said Anubhuti.
Anubhuti completed his five year law course from Law University in 2013 and appeared in the RJS exam for the first time in 2015.
Her message to fellow students aspiring to crack tough exams is quite simple and clear: Don’t give up after initial defeats. Work hard to win.
