Jaipur: In a major step towards making housing affordable for all, the Rajasthan Housing Board has launched a special housing sales drive offering ready-to-move flats at discounts of up to 50%. The initiative will be implemented through housing camps to be held across multiple cities, including Jaipur, Kota, Barmer, Jodhpur, Bhilwara, Banswara, and Pratapgarh from May 6 to May 28.
Housing Commissioner Dr Rashmi Sharma said the camps will provide a chance for people from all income groups to own a home at concessional rates. In Jaipur, the campaign begins with a camp on May 6 and 7 at the Mahla Awas Yojana on Jobner Road, where flats starting from ₹4.70 lakh will be available.
In parallel, similar camps will be organised in Barmer (Magra Awas Yojana) and Kota (Chomhela Awas Yojana) on the same dates. The second phase of camps will be held on May 13–14 in Jodhpur under Vivek Vihar and Kudi Bhagtasni schemes, along with Chhipabardod Yojana in Kota.
Further camps will follow on May 20–21, covering Chhabra and Mangrol housing schemes in Kota, Suwana Awas Yojana in Bhilwara, and a project in Pratapgarh. The final round of housing camps will be conducted on May 27–28 for Peratapgarh’s Partapur scheme and Nainwa housing project.
Dr Sharma emphasised that this campaign aligns with the state government’s vision to fulfil the housing dreams of the common people. The Housing Board continues to work actively to ensure affordable housing reaches every corner of the state.
