REET paper leak case: SOG takes 3 more including police constable into custody
Jaipur: Rajasthan special operations group (SOG) has arrested a police constable, his brother and another man from Sawai Madhopur for their alleged involvement in leaking the REET paper. The police are yet to disclose their identities but said that some more people who had links with the arrested men are under the scanner. They didn’t rule out the possibility of more arrests in the near future. The kingpin – identified as Battilal Meena – is still at large
Three detained men were being brought to Jaipur till the reports last came in. Sources said that they would be interrogated here. The SOG officials are likely to disclose their identity after their questioning.
The trio was initially quizzed at Mantown police station in Sawai Madhopur before the SOG team left for Jaipur with them.
Sources said that the role of many other policemen and teachers is under the scanner. Six people have already been arrested in the case. They were identified as constable Devendra Singh, his wife Laxmi Gujjar, head constable Yaduveer Singh, Yaduveer’s wife Seema Gujjar, Usha Meena and Manish Meena.
Sources added that SOG was likely to make a major revelation in the case soon. Searches are being carried out across the state to find the mastermind Battilal Meena. His photographs with many senior politicians of the state had recently gone viral.
