REET 2022: Exam rules, guidelines, dress code, helpline numbers

Jaipur: REET 2022 will be held in Rajasthan on Saturday and Sunday. The RBSE has specified some guidelines for the candidates appearing in the examination. The candidates should follow these rules and guidelines in order to avoid last-minute hassles.
Here is the list of guidelines and rules that you should keep in mind:
- Ban on electronic devices: Don’t take electronic devices like mobile, Bluetooth, calculators, watch, chain, rings, earrings and similar items to the examination centre. They may be confiscated.
- REET – 2022 dress code: You should only wear a shirt, t-shirt, kurta, and kurti. Dupatta is not allowed. Only wear thin-soled shoes, slippers and sandals. This measure has been taken to thwart attempts of cheating.
- OMR sheet: The candidates will be given 5 minutes to change the OMR sheet in case it has any defect, so the candidates should check it first thing when they start the exam. Bring it to the notice of the invigilator immediately.
- Free travel: The Rajasthan government has made travel to the examination centre free for REET aspirants. A candidate can avail of this benefit by showing his or her REET admit card. This facility will be available from July 21 to July 26. Jaipur Metro is also offering free travel from July 22 to July 25.
- Anti-cheating law: If a candidate is found in possession of electronic devices or attempts to cheat in any way, he or she may be booked under various sections of the Prevention of Unfair Means Act 1992. As per the prevailing law, a person found guilty under the law may be sentenced to a maximum imprisonment of up to 10 years along with fines.
