REET – 2021: Internet ban in several districts of Rajasthan

Jaipur: The administration has decided to ban mobile internet services in several districts of Rajasthan including Bikaner, Udaipur, Jaipur rural and Sikar on Sunday to thwart cheating attempts in REET – 2021. The internet services will be snapped from 6 am to 6 pm. It was yet to be decided if the services will be active in Jaipur commissionerate as no decision had been taken in this regard till reports last came in.
In all districts of the Jaipur division excluding the areas falling under the jurisdiction of Jaipur commissionerate, internet services will not work. The services will be snapped from 7.30 am to 5.30 pm in Jaipur rural areas, while the internet ban timing in Alwar, Dausa and Jhunjhunu will be from 6 am to 6 pm. In Sikar, it will be 8 am to 5 pm.
All districts in the Bikaner division including Bikaner, Churu, Sriganganagar and Hanumangarh will see internet service disruption from 6 am to 6 pm.
The exam will be conducted 33 districts of Rajasthan. The administration and police are leaving no stone unturned to thwart the cheating attempts. The lease lines and broadbands will continue to work. Some districts are yet to announce an internet ban.
