Recruitment process begins for 5390 police constable posts in Rajasthan

Jaipur: The police headquarters (PHQ) has started the recruitment process for filling up 5390 posts of police constables. For this, candidates can complete the online application from October 23 to November 21. The entrance exam will also be held online. The examination is expected to be conducted in the second week of December. Candidates will be able to choose their desired district for giving the examination.
Police Headquarters has also decided to use a video wall to monitor this online exam. Every center will be watched closely using this technology. A video wall is basically a set of video screens that are connected together so that each screen shows a part of the whole picture or so that the same picture is repeated on each screen.
ADG of Police Headquarters, Mr. Janga Srinivas Rao confirmed that bonus points will only be awarded only to candidates with NCC and Home Guards certificates. In NCC, two points for A category, three for B and five points will be given for C category. The ones who have stayed for 5 years at a stretch in Home Guard will be given five points while four points will be given for candidates who have done so for two years. It has been decided to have two points for candidates with just one year of Home Guard experience.
The written examination will be of 75 marks which will include negative marking. In addition to this, the physical examination will also be conducted for 15 marks. Every examination center will have CCTV cameras to ensure strict monitoring. As far as the Jaipur Commissionerate is concerned, there are 392 posts up for grabs.
