Readmission in RU departments: Many students miss deadline
The last date for readmission had been set as July 18. Many students complained that they got to know about the deadline on July 17, so they could not apply for readmission.

Jaipur: Admissions for PG and UG courses in Rajasthan University (RU) is under process. The RU administration has also begun readmission process in RU departments. However, the last date for readmission had been set as July 18. Many students complained that they got to know about the deadline on July 17, so they could not apply for readmission. They could apply due to the last minute information. They demanded that the readmission last date should be extended.
After getting information about the last date, a huge number of students turned up at the bank to deposit their fee. They got stuck in long queues. Many students had to return without depositing the fee as the bank couldn’t accommodate all the applicants. Some students didn’t even check their emails, so didn’t know about the last date for readmission. They couldn’t apply.
“The RU administration should have informed the students ahead of time. The students received information in the nick of time, so there was a lot of rush at the bank. We demand that the last date for readmission in RU department should be extended,” said a student union leader.
