RCA elections 2019 schedule released: All you need to know

Jaipur: After a tug-of-war between two groups over the past one week, the schedule for the Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) election was finally released on Saturday. The elections will take place on October 4. Election Officer RR Rashmi released the schedule.
September 29 is the last date for objections on the voter list as per the the election program released by the election officer. The final voter list will be released on September 30. The voting will be conducted over two hours – from 11 am to 1 pm – on October 4. The votes will be counted from 2 pm and the results will be released on the same day.
Here is the complete RCA elections 2019 schedule:
- Objection on voter list can be submitted till 1 pm on 29 September.
- The objections will be heard on September 30 from 11 am to 5 pm.
- The final voter list will be released on September 30 at 8 pm.
- Nominations will be filed on October 1 and October 2.
- Nomination papers will be scrutinized by 5 pm on October 2.
- The list of eligible candidates will be released on October 3.
- Nominations can be withdrawn from 11 am to 5 pm on October 30. The final list of candidates will be released at 6 pm.
- Polling will be held from 11 am to 1 pm on October 4. The counting of votes will take place immediately after voting and the results will be announced on the same day.
Sources are not ruling out the possibility that Vaibhav Gehlot – son of chief minister Ashok Gehlot – can be elected unopposed.
