Medical and health departments team in Ramganj after man tests positive
Jaipur: Ramganj area in Jaipur was completely sealed and the authorities are imposing the lockdown more strictly after a man tested positive for Coronavirus here on Thursday. The man had returned home from Oman recently.
According to preliminary reports, the man had developed Coronavirus systems and since he was already under the radar of authorities due to his foreign visit, he was screened and tested. He was found infected with the virus. He has been quarantined at an isolation centre in SMS Hospital.
The administration swung into action as Ramganj is a densely populated area, making it more prone to the spread of Coronavirus. The area was sanitized with with Sodium Hypochlorite. Many teams of medical and health department are surveying households to screen people who have Coronavirus-like symptoms.
The movement of private vehicles has been completely banned in Ramganj. The people are not being allowed to venture out of their homes. The family members and neighbours of the man have been put under close scrutiny.
The total number of people tested positive for Coronavirus has gone up to seven in Jaipur. The authorities had heaved a sigh of relief when no new case surfaced over two days, but the latest positive case in Ramganj has again put them on toes.
