Rajasthan: Wife of Sheo Ram who was martyred in Pulwama encounter gives birth to baby boy

According to martyr’s wife Sunita, Sheo ram had big plans for his newborn child. He was planning to go on leave to take care of the family as the delivery date was approaching.

Jaipur: Sunita – the wife of army jawan Sheo Ram Siradhna gave birth to a baby boy in a hospital at Jaipur on Friday. Sheo Ram was martyred in the Pulwama encounter on February 18.

The jawan is survived by a four-year-old son and now a newborn has joined the family.

The four-year-old son Khushank attended the funeral.

According to martyr’s wife Sunita, Sheo ram had big plans for his newborn child. He was planning to go on leave to take care of the family as the delivery date was approaching.

Head constable Sheoram was the resident of Tiba village in Khetdi town in Jhunjhunu district and was stationed in the 55 RR company at Pulwama in Kashmir.

According to the relatives of the martyred soldier, Sheo Ram’s father Baluram died 35 years ago and his mother Sharali Devi took care of the family. Khushank says that he wants to be a soldier like his father when he grows up.

Sheoram had joined the army 16 years ago. He had three sisters and two brothers.  One of the brothers is also in the army while the other is studying.

Sheoram visited his family at Jhunjhunu last in December 2018. He promised his son that he will be back soon with a lot of gifts for him.

Head constable Sheo Ram was among the four soldiers who were martyred in an encounter between security forces and terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pinglan area in Pulwama district on February 18. The army killed top commanders of Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) Abdul Rasheed Ghazi and Kamran. They were believed to be the masterminds behind Pulwana terror attack of February 14.
