Rajasthan University (RU) semester exams cancelled, new dates to be announced soon

Jaipur: The Rajasthan University administration on Saturday postponed the semester exams for MA, MSc, MCom and other professional courses. The exams were scheduled to take place on December 22, 23, 25, 26 and 27.
According to a press release issued by the university administration, the decision to cancel the exams has been taken due to some “unavoidable” reasons.
“We would make the details of new dates for the semester exams available on the university’s website https://www.uniraj.ac.in in the coming days. Students are advised to check the website from time to time. We will also give the information through print, TV and online media channels,” said a university spokesperson.
He added that the examination centers and timing would remain the same.
“Though the dates have been changed, the students don’t need to panic. The examination centers have not been changed. The timing will also remain the same,” said spokesperson.
Thousands of students will be affected by the change in semester examination dates.
The university administration didn’t give any reason as to why the exams were postponed.
