Rajasthan University paper leak: coaching institute owner among more people arrested
Accused were produced in a court that sent them to five-day police remand.

Jaipur: The special operations group (SOG) has nabbed more people in connection with RU paper leak cases, taking the total number of arrests to 13. While eight people were arrested on Monday, five were held early Tuesday. The latest arrests include a coaching institute owner from Duasa’s Bandikui area, a Kaladera college lecturer and two college students.

It has come up during preliminary investigation that two more papers – MA final geography of India paper and BCom second year Income Tax paper had also been leaked by the same gang. It is addition to the four cases of paper leaks revealed on Monday including MCom final (Bikaner University), BA final geography first paper, BA final geography second paper and MA (previous) SBST paper second (Rajasthan University).
Senior SOG officials said that following people had been arrested:
- Chandraprakash Sindhi, a coaching institute owner from Bandikui
- Shankar Chopra, a lecturer with a Kaladera college
- Two college students, Akhil Rawat and Ajay Kumar Saini
- Nandlal Saini, an employee of Rajasthan University’s secrecy branch
The SOG on Monday had already arrested Rajasthan University’s geography department head (HoD) JP Jat, Commerce College examination convener Govind Pareek, Government College Khajuvala professor NS Modi, Modi’s son Nipun Modi, SSG Pareek Girls College Chomu’s Shambhudayal Jhalani, Kalicharan Sharma from Agrsen College Bhadara, an employee of Ramesh Book Depot Sharad and retired RU professor BL Gupta.
Twelve of the accused were produced in a court in Jaipur on Tuesday. The court sent them in five-day police custody for further interrogation in the matter.
