Rajasthan University gives clean chit to RUSU president Vinod Jakhar in nomination complaint
The investigation into the nomination of NSUI candidate Vinod Jakhar who won the Rajasthan University student union election 2018 for the president post was completed on Wednesday.

Jaipur: The probe committee of the Rajasthan University (RU) has given a clean chit to the student union president Vinod Jhakar after conducting an investigation into his nomination for two months. The clean chit has paved the way for the university administration to release the student union budget.
The investigation into the nomination of NSUI candidate Vinod Jakhar who won the Rajasthan University student union election 2018 for the president post was completed on Wednesday.
The student welfare administrator (DSW) Mangej Singh submitted his report to the Vice-Chancellor. Jahkar was given a clean chit in the probe report. After this, all the individuals related to the matter were informed about the report.
According to DSW Mangej Singh, the committee meeting was held three times to discuss the matter. All the arguments were discussed but no concrete documents were presented in connection with the complaint.
The process of issuing the budget for the student union will start soon. Rs 10 Lakh budget is expected.
The ABVP candidate for president post Rajpal Choudhary had complained about Jakhar’s nomination on October 1. In the complaint, he said that Vinod had admitted being convicted by a court in the nomination form and also cheated in the former exams of the university.
ABVP had demanded that Jakhar’s nomination be rejected. The vice chancellor ordered a probe into the matter.
As a result, the university administration did not release the student union budget. The release of the budget will be followed by hamper inauguration of the student union office and other student welfare-related works.
