Rajasthan SOG seizes 14 pistols, 56 cartridges in Bundi, 3 arrested
The trio confessed that they had bought the guns from Dhar area in Madhya Pradesh for Rs 150,000 and were trying to sell them in Jodhpur and Pali districts of Rajasthan.

Jaipur: Busting another gang of gun suppliers within a week, the Rajasthan special operations group (SOG) on Thursday seized 14 sophisticated pistols and 56 cartridges from three men in Hindauli area of Bundi district.
The accused were identified as Mangilal Dewasi, Babulal Bishnoi and Dewaram Dewasi. The trio confessed that they had bought the guns from Dhar area in Madhya Pradesh for Rs 150,000 and were trying to sell them in Jodhpur and Pali districts of Rajasthan.
IG, SOG Dinesh MN said that a Swift Dzire car was intercepted near Hindauli. The car was coming from Kota.
“We found 14 pistols and 56 cartridges from the car. The three men, who belong to Pali and Jodhpur districts, were arrested. We had received a tip-off about the smuggling following which police barricades were put up to catch the smugglers,” said the officer.
SOG on December 22 had busted a gang of arms smugglers in Nimbaheda area of Chittorgarh district and seized 20 sophisticated guns from their possession.
The accused men had bought these guns from Ratlam for Rs 27,000 each and were planning to sell them in Rajasthan for Rs 55,000. The guns which were seized include 19 pistols and one revolver.
The accused were identified as Irfan Khan, Saddam Hussain and Firoz Khan, all three natives of Chittorgarh district.
