Jaipur: Rajasthan Royals will play its tenth match against Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019 on Monday at their home turf – SMS Stadium in Jaipur.
After a win against three-time champions Mumbai Indians at Jaipur on Saturday, Rajasthan Royals look forward to winning against Delhi Capitals at Sawai Man Singh (SMS) Stadium on Monday. The match will start from 8 pm onwards, said officials.
Head of Cricket for Rajasthan Royals Zubin Bharucha announced player Steve Smith as the new captain of Rajasthan Royals succeeding Ajinkya Rahane just before the match against Mumbai Indians on Saturday.
He said ‘Steve is one of the most innovative and successful captains in the world, in all formats of the game. We are confident that he can lead the Royals to success’

The decision surely paid off as the Royals marked its third win against Mumbai by 5 wickets on Saturday at Jaipur in IPL 2019.
Royals have struggled in the tournament with just three wins off nine matches. They have failed to make the most of home ground advantage as they lost three matches at SMS Stadium.
Delhi capitals in on number three on the points table while Royals remain on seven.
According to the RR player England all-rounder Ben Stokes, the team has to now treat every game like a final and It cannot afford any lose now.
The traffic police officials said that the traffic would be diverted on the roads leading to the venue in the city on Monday.
