Rajasthan Roadways launches reservation mobile app for RSRTC bus ticket bookings online

Jaipur: Rajasthan State Roadways Transport Corporation (RSRTC) has launched a mobile application to make it easier for people to book bus tickets online. Until now, the passengers had to use third party apps from private companies to book Rajasthan roadways bus tickets. But since RSRTC has now launched its own app, one can download it from play store and book tickets. It will make ticket booking more convenient, an official said.
“The app has been named ‘RSRTC Reservation’. People can download the RSRTC app from Google Play Store and handle most errands related to bus ticket booking online with a just few taps on their smartphone,” said the officer.
The officer added that the tickets can be booked and cancelled through the app. The people can also get information about bus timing and schedule.
“Another great feature of the app is that you can leave your feedback about the conduct of the driver or the condition of the buses. We will review these feedbacks from time to time. It will help us make Rajasthan Roadways journey more convenient for people,” the officer added.
He said that the department is no longer dependent on third party apps from private companies.
“Though the ticket booking will continue on other apps just like before, we have launched our own app now. People should steer clear of bogus or fake apps to book tickets securely online,” said the officer.
