Rajasthan reports 480 new COVID-19 cases; highest in a day

Fresh cases were reported in various areas of Walled City on Saturday.

Jaipur: The spread of Coronavirus broke all previous records on Saturday with the state reporting 480 new cases in the past 24 hours. Of them, 40 were reported in Jaipur. The total number of cases has gone up to 19532. Seven more deaths were reported in the state on Saturday, taking the death toll to 447.

The following areas in Jaipur reported COVID-19 cases:

  • Johari Bazaar – 3
  • Manak Chowk – 8
  • Vaishali Nagar – 2
  • Ajmer Road – 4
  • Galta Gate – 2
  • Migrants – 7
  • Kotputali – 1
  • Sodala – 2
  • Jawahar Nagar – 1
  • C-Scheme – 1
  • Durgapura – 3
  • Mansarovar – 1
  • Sanganer – 2
  • Sitapura – 1
  • Gopalpura – 1
  • Gandhi Nagar – 1

As many as 54 cases were reported in Alwar, 43 in Barmer, 30 in Bharatpur, 46 in Bikaner, 39 in Dholpur, 13 in Dungarpur, 42 in Jalore, 29 in Jodhpur, 26 in Nagaur, 22 in Pali, 20 in Udaipur and 16 in Sikar.

The number of active cases in the state has gone up to 3445.
