Rajasthan records 1317 COVID-19 cases; 164 in Jaipur alone

Jaipur: Rajya Sabha MP Rajendra has tested positive for COVID-19. In a Tweet, he requested people who came in contact with him to isolate themselves and have themselves tested. The coronavirus spread broke all records on Sunday as 1317 people tested positive for the virus in a day, the highest tally so far. With this, the total number of cases in Rajasthan have crossed 60,000. A total of 14 deaths were reported in the state, taking the death toll to 876.

Of the total cases, 164 were reported in Jaipur. Central Jail again hogged headlines as 18 people tested positive here on Monday. Some other areas which reported new COVID-19 cases in Jaipur include:
