Jaipur: Rajasthan police constable recruitment exam – 2018 will be held across the state in four shifts on July 14 and July 15. The police headquarters (PHQ) has allotted the examination centers. There were reports that the examination center allotment link will be provided on the Rajasthan Police’s official website but if its yet to be done. According to reports, here is how you can check your examination center for Rajasthan police constable exam 2018:

Step #1: You should go to recruitment2.rajasthan.gov.in. The link will redirect to he Rajasthan Single Sign On website – https://sso.rajasthan.gov.in/signin?ru=RECRUITMENT2

Step#2: if you are not already registered on this site, you will see a button on the top right side of the page saying ‘Registration’. You should click on this button and fill in the details to create log in username ID (Digital ID/SSOID/username) and password. You can register using your Aadhaar Card and Bhamashah ID. You can also log in using your Facebook, Google or Twitter ID, but you won’t get full access to the site.

Step#3: Once you log in, You will find a link saying ‘Know Your Center District Location’.

Step#4: Fill in the required details. You can download all the information including center allotment for Rajasthan police constable exam – 2018 and take a print out.

There were reports in the local media highlighting contain ambiguity in the constable recruitment advertisement process. It was alleged that in the advertisement, the PHQ didn’t make it clear if a candidate could apply for appearing in the exam at more than one place. Nearly 30,000 candidates applied to appear in the exam at multiple places as it will be conducted in four shirts over the period of two days.

In the recruitment notice, the PHQ didn’t clarify whether a candidate can apply to appear in the exam at two different places. As a result, lakhs of students believed that they could submit only one application. Since they believed that the exam would take place on a single day, they were deprived of the opportunity to apply to appear in the exam at more than one place.

The first recruitment notice for Rajasthan police constable exam was issued on October 18, 2017. On the list of criteria, the PHQ mentioned that if a candidate submits more than one application, only the one submitted first would be accepted. A second notice was issued on May 25 in which this criterion was removed, however, the PHQ didn’t clarify whether a candidate could submit multiple applications or not.

In March, the PHQ decided to cancel the Rajasthan police constable recruitment exam keeping in view the cheating cases. More 20 people have been arrested in connection with cheating cases, putting question marks over the confidentiality of the online exam process. The PHQ then decided to conduct the exam off-line.
