Rajasthan police arrest 10,000 miscreants in 3 days

JAIPUR: Rajasthan Police has apprehended about 10,000 miscreants during a three-day special campaign conducted across the state.
The operation aimed to arrest active criminals and anti-social elements, resulting in raids at 22,000 locations. As many as 116 FIRs have been registered.
On the third day of the campaign, which took place on Friday, a total of 2,301 teams consisting of 8,639 police officers raided criminals. These teams searched 7,664 locations and arrested 3,426 miscreants.
DGP Umesh Mishra said that this action was carried out under the supervision of ADG (Crime) Dinesh MN throughout the entire state. All range IGs monitored the operation while local Superintendents of Police led their respective police teams in the field.
Throughout this three-day initiative in Rajasthan, a total of 9,994 miscreants were arrested and charged with various crimes. In addition to this significant number of arrests made during the campaign period itself, police also raided many hideouts—amounting to as many as 22,419—involving over 6,000 teams composed of roughly 26,000 police officers and personnel.
ADG MN said that Udaipur ranked first among all regions for arresting miscreants during this extensive operation followed by Kota and Ajmer ranges respectively.
