Jaipur: Online lottery results for RTE admissions in over 24,400 schools in Rajasthan were announced on Tuesday.
Nearly 1.70 lakh parents have applied for admissions in these schools for free education under the Right to Education Act.

The minister of state for education Vasudev Devnani announced the online results at Siksha Sankul on Tuesday.
At least 25 percent seats have to be reserved for admission under RTE in each school.
Parents were able to apply online for admissions this academic year.
The education department received 1.72 lakh applications.
A parent could apply for 15 different schools.
Parents will have to approach the school where they want to enroll their children by May 8.
Schools can start the admission process from May 9.
School will have to complete the admission process by July 31.
